So I’m going to start off by saying that last week was not my most enthusiastic of weeks! I was still super sick most of the week and as a result my motivation to film things was severely depleted!!
I was going to skip this weeks Vlog entry because I thought it was just too lazy — BUT I’m not about giving up so I pulled myself together, got my edit on and Ta-Da The Student Teacher Diaries Episode 6 came to life!!
I forgot to mention in the Vlog… our plans for Cambodia are coming along really well – time is flying by!! I just need to buy my travel VISA and then I am good to go 😀 I’m flying home on my own (because I have a wedding to get to) so Im a bit nervous about being at the Singapore airport on m y own for 10 HOURS!!! If you have any advice on things to do during a ten hour stopover in Singapore PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THEM!!!! (not going to lie… I am a little bit scared ).
I also included a little entomology stuff this week ❤ (to make up for the fact that I forgot to film a concluding segment! – sorry guys … I did warn you that I wasn’t on the ball this week!). If you have any questions about my butterfly collection please let me know ❤ Entomology is one of my favourite things so I am always happy to talk about it :p
Until next week !
Wowsers… so I had another hectic week last week and unfortunately my body could not keep up with my brain!!
I got what I think must have been the worst flu of my life… it was so bad I couldn’t even move from my couch for 2 days 😦
Something I didn’t go into very much in this video (but I think I’l talk about this week) is how hard it is, not only working full time AND being a full time university student, but being the partner of a FIFO worker. Normally I can handle Scott being away and it only affects me slightly but this week I really noticed his absence. It isn’t easy (if you watched last week’s blog you’ll know all about the pressure it puts on us) but we work really hard at our relationship and I’m so so soooo lucky that I found a man that loves me even when I’m crazy ❤ ❤ ❤ If you have any questions about how Scott and I keep balance in our relationship, please don’t hesitate to ask!
So without further a-do… here is this week’s Vlog ❤
That’s all from me this week guys,
I’m still recovering from my flu and, given my bed-ridden weekend, I’m also behind with my studies so most of this week will be spent playing catch up 🙂
Until next week
So my life has been full on for the last couple of weeks – I’ve barely had time for anything which I why I didn’t ‘t upload a blog last week 😦
But I’m making up for it this week !!! With two weeks worth of footage all lovingly combined into one episode 🙂
It is a little long , so it’s probably a good idea to make yourself a cup of tea before watching ❤
Have a beautiful week everybody ! ❤ ❤ ❤
Good Morning Everyone!!!
So it has been a massive week (and an even bigger weekend but I’ll talk about all that drama in next weeks blog). We have a new foster dog, Bear (who is literally a giant AND the cutest thing you have ever seen!). This is him ❤
I also had an EDSS (Education Student Society) trivia event that I attended this week and (spoiler alert) my team came 3rd (mostly because I was calling out the wrong answers to throw the other teams off (classic trivia mind games)).
So without any farther introduction here is this weeks video diary ❤ ❤ ❤
Have a beautiful week everyone!
I’m going to try and get some more resources up before the end of the week!
Namaste ❤ ❤ ❤
Good Morning Everyone!!
So last week was the official second week of University for semester 2 and my first week as a full time school officer (or teacher aid). It was incredible!! I have started a new blogging series called “The Student Teacher Diaries” to document my last year as a student teacher and so far it is going great – my camera skills could use some improving but for now (considering my budget) they aren’t too bad 😛
Working as a team is something I think that everyone, students and adults alike, are constantly learning about and getting better at. The resource I’m uploading this week was incredibly useful to me on my last teacher placement. I used it during an independent research lesson where I split the class into groups and gave them each a topic – then they had to go off and research it themselves.
The only prep required is printing and laminating. I printed 5 copies all in a different colour so that when I split the class into teams they had one colour each. It was a little bit tedious preparing 5 sets but now that I’ve done it I can keep them for future lessons.

Thats all from me ❤ ❤ ❤
Have a good week!
Good Morning Everyone!!!
So I have finally finished my 3rd year professional experience and it was amazing! I had the best time.
In my last week I put a lot of effort into the resources I was making and this is one of my favourites!! I was finding it really hard to source a good histogram / stem-and-leaf plot activity for my junior math classes – so I took a beat and made my own.
I hope you find it as useful as I did!
